San Juan Bautista Tuxtepec
Es una ciudad y cabecera del municipio homónimo. Se ubica como la segunda entre las ciudades más pobladas del estado de Oaxaca, en México. Posee una población de 101 810 habitantes en la ciudad y 155 766 habitantes en su municipio, según el II Conteo de Población y Vivienda del INEGI 2010. Tuxtepec es el principal centro urbano de la Región de la Cuenca del Papaloapan, siendo poseedora de una gran actividad agrícola, industria ganadera, industrial y en esencia comercial;
convirtiéndose en un punto de convergencia de las actividades de los estados de Oaxaca, Veracruz y Puebla.

It is a city and head of the municipality of the same name. It is ranked as the second most populated city in the state of Oaxaca, in Mexico. It has a population of 101,810 inhabitants in the city and 155,766 inhabitants in its municipality, according to the II Population and Housing Count of INEGI 2010. Tuxtepec is the main urban center of the Papaloapan Basin Region, having a large agricultural activity, livestock industry, industrial and essentially commercial; becoming a point of convergence of the activities of the states of Oaxaca, Veracruz and Puebla.
